Yarn: Any Category 1 Fingering Weight yarn. I'm not sure what mine was - it was just a miscellaneous ball of yarn!
Finished Dimensions: 12 1/2 inches in diameter

Round 1: Ch 3. Join to first ch with sl st.
Round 2: Ch 2. 18 treble crochet into circle. Join to ch 2 with sl st.
Round 3: *Ch 4. Skip 1 treble st, sc into next st. Repeat from * to first ch 4. 1 sc into same treble st as you started in.
Round 4: 8 sc into each ch 4 loop.
Round 5: Sl st up to 4th sc from hook. *3 treble crochet into next st. 3 treble crochet into next st. Ch 4. Repeat from * to first treble stitch and join with sl st.
Round 6: Ch 2, 1 treble crochet into each treble st. Join to ch 2 with sl st.
Round 7: *Ch 8. Sc in 5th stitch from hook. Repeat from * to last 3 st. Ch 8. Sc into 3rd st from hook.
Round 8: *16 sc into each ch 8 loop. Repeat from * until first loop is reached. Sl st into first sc.
Round 9: Sl st up to 7th sc from hook. *2 treble crochet into each of the next 3 st. Ch 5. Repeat from * until first treble st is reached. Sl st to first treble st.
Round 10: Ch 2. *1 treble crochet into each treble st. 5 treble crochet into each ch 5 space. Repeat from * until the ch 2 is reached. Sl st to top of ch 2.
Round 11: Ch 2. *2 treble crochet into next st. 1 treble crochet into each of next 13 st. Repeat from * until the ch 2 is reached. Sl st to top of ch 2.
To finish: Pull end of yarn through and knot once. Weave in ends and steam.

Yarn: Bernat Baby (or any soft 3-ply)
Abbreviations: ch=chain sc=single crochet dc=double crochet sk=skip
Row 1: Ch 120.
Row 2: Sc into second ch, and dc into third ch from hook. Keep repeating this sequence, *sc, dc back and forth until reaching the end of the row. Ch 1, turn. Dc in every sc, sc in every dc.*. Repeat from * to * until blanket has reached desired length.
Edging: 6 dc into first sc. Sk 3, sc. 6dc into same hole, sk 3, sc. Repeat until pattern is repeated all of the way around the edge. BO. Weave in ends.

Yarn: Caron One Pound yarn or any 4-ply of the same weight. (Preferably a soft yarn)
Abbreviations: ch=chain sc=single crochet dc=double crochet sk=skip BO= bind off

Back: Ch 25.
Row 1: Sc into 2nd ch from hook and into remaining chains across. (24 sc). Ch 1, turn.
Row 2: Sc into back loop only of last sc, and into remaining back loops all of the way across the row.
Repeat Row 2 until piece measures approximately 7 inches. BO
Front (Make two): Ch 25.
Row 1: Sc into 2nd ch from hook and into remaining chains across. (24 sc). Ch 1, turn.
Row 2: Sc into back loop only of last sc, and into remaining back loops all of the way across the row.
Repeat Row 2 until piece measures approximately 3 ½ inches. On one of the two front pieces: with 7 sc left to do, 2sc in current hole. Then, sk two sc, and 2sc into third hole. Then, sk two sc, and 2sc into third hole. Sc into last hole and BO.
Sleeves (Make two): Ch 23.
Row 1: Sc into 2nd ch from hook and into remaining chains across. (22 sc. Ch 1, turn.
Row 2: Sc into back loop only of last sc, and into remaining back loops all of the way across the row.
After approximately 4 rows, start decreasing by 1-2 stitches every several rows until sleeve reaches desired length and circumference. Do not make sleeve too tight or it will constrict the baby’s arms. BO but leave long tail.
Edging (sleeves only): 4 sc into one sc, sk three sc, sc into next sc, and 4 dc into same hole until end is reached. BO and then join pieces.

Abbreviations: ch= chain sc= single crochet BO=bind off

Row 1: Ch 37.

Row 2: Sc into second ch from hook and into remaining ch all the way across. (36 sc)

Row 3: Sc into front loop only of each sc all the way across.

Repeat Row 3 thirty-eight times or until hat fits comfortably around your head.

BO, leaving long tail. Join edges, and tie off end. Then, using the same tail, weave through every other stitch in the top of the hat, cinch it, and tie it off. Weave in ends.
